TDFR annual call volume numbers are in. In 2025, Theodore Dawes Fire Rescue responded to 4713 calls (This was a 4.98% decrease in call volume from 2024).
These calls included:

– 2 Explosion calls
– 3179 Rescue/EMS calls
– 72 Hazardous Condition calls
– 529 Service calls
– 420 Good Intent calls
– 174 False Alarm calls
– 3 Severe Weather calls
– 3 Special Incident calls
The Fire calls total (331) breaks down further as follows;

Structure Fire = 86
Manufactured Home Fire = 14
Vehicle Fire = 25
Brush Fire = 110
Outside/Rubbish Fire = 83
Special Outside Fire = 10
Additionally, our training department helped personnel log 2,292 training hours. We hosted 12 Alabama Fire College courses and helped firefighters earn 93 certifications.
