On January 30th at 16:46, Theodore Dawes Fire Rescue, Seven Hills Fire Rescue, St. Elmo VFD and Alabama Forestry crews were called to the scene of a 45 acre brush fire near McCovery Rd.
Crews worked together for about three hours before finally getting the fire under control and extinguished. There were no injuries or casualties.
