Get to know Brendan Hermesch

NAME: Brendan Hermesch, 37

I grew up in Fishers, IN. I’ve served in the U.S. Coast Guard for the last 19 years as an Aviation Maintenance Technician First Class. I’ve been stationed in Mobile on the HC-144 since 2021 and was previously stationed in Guam, Florida, North Carolina and Massachusetts. I became interested in the fire service as a fire explorer on Fishers Fire Department during high school and joined TDFR in March because of their commitment to the community by training hard and dedication to protecting others.

FUN FACT: I enjoy hunting, working out with my wife and 3 kids and I’m a beekeeper.
