We want to give thanks to our community and Board of Directors as we took delivery of our new E-One HR100 Aerial. This department continues to hold its promises to provide newer and more capable equipment to provide a better service to our community.
Ladder 27 was dedicated to Robbie Skipper & his son Gabe which was an emotional event. Robbie’s son passed away in an accident in 2012 that shattered his family’s heart. Robbie faced another setback in 2019 when he was diagnosed with metastatic kidney cancer. He has served this community well for many years as a Captain and Safety Officer. Robbie has remained “Skipper Strong” throughout his fight and this dedication is a reminder for his fellow firefighters to keep up the fight at keeping this community safe. We, Theodore Dawes Fire Rescue, want him and his family to know that we stand behind him throughout this fight and that his son will always ride shotgun on Ladder 27.
